The Law office of Laura M. Unflat provides assistance in all matters of family law including, divorce, custody, visitation, support, child welfare (care and protection) and family estates/wills. Laura works personally with each client to understand the legal proceedings and recognizes that each person's situation is unique. Attorney Unflat's goal is to minimize the difficult aspects of the legal process yet be realistic as to what a client should expect. Clients will receive contingent explanation of the legal issues involved, and guidance in the practicalities and realities of what to expect (and not to expect) from family law practice and the courts.

Attorney Laura Unflat is a member of the Women's, Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations. Laura co-chairs the Employment Issues Committee of the Women's Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Boston Bar Association, where she serves on the Family Law and Solo and Small Firm Sections, and previously co-chaired the BBA's New Lawyers Section.
Laura earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University Extension School in 1997 and was awarded her law degree from Suffolk University in 2001. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2002.
